Agriculture

We are running organic vegetable farming in the GP complex. Mainly we are producing seasonal vegetables and off seasonal farming in few area. Most of the vegetables are used for GP hospital patient’s canteen and Beth Eden guesthouse for the guest. We have two outlets from where we are selling our products. We are also purchasing vegetables and fruits from farmers and suppliers and selling from our outlets as per the demand of our customers. This unit will be upgraded and continue in this year.

The company has its own integrated farm in GP complex. Where we are managing a poultry farm, buffalos, and pigs. Currently, we are producing milk, eggs, and meat.

·         Layer Chicken

This year’s average egg production was 7500 per day. Currently, we have 15000 layers currently where 4 staff are working. Per day feed consumption is 1725 kg. Hotels from the lakeside, local community people and two wholesalers. We have budgeted to increase layers for this year and have plan to grow 20000 layers.

·         Broiler Chicken

We are supplying broiler chicken meat as per the demand to the local fresh house and individual costumer. One full-time worker is working in this unit and growing  1000 chicken in a month. Per day feed consumption is 100. Broilers chicken will also increase this year up to 1500.

·         Pig Farm

SNMC runs a pig farm as well to address the pig meat demand of the customer. As per the demand we are selling 3 pigs in a week. Now one full-time worker is working in this section. Currently, we have 200 pigs on the farm. We have a plan to shift the pig farm in the south part location from the current location this year. Local community people are complying due to its bad smell. The number of pigs will reach 250 this year.

·         Buffalo Farm

The demand for buffalo milk is extremely high and at the same time cost of production is also high. Have maintained an average 130 ltr per day production of milk. We have 66 buffaloes on the farm (including buffalo mothers and calves). Three full-time staff and 2 part-time staffs are working in this units. The average production of milk is planned to increase this year. There is a budget to purchase 12 new buffalos this year.
